To set up an IMAP account on your iPhone using SSL, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Mail.
  3. Tap on Accounts.
  4. Select Add Account.
  5. Choose Other as the account type.
  6. Tap on Add Mail Account.
  7. Enter the following information:
    1. Name: Your name as you would like it displayed when you send an email.
    2. Email: {email address}
    3. Password: {password}
    4. Description: Give the account a name (e.g., AfterNorth Email).
  8. Tap Next and ensure IMAP is selected at the top.
  9. Enter the following information under Incoming Mail Server:
    1. Host Name: mail.afternorth.com
    2. Username: {email address}
    3. Password: {password}
  10. Enter the following information under Outgoing Mail Server:
    1. Host Name: mail.afternorth.com
    2. Username: {email address}
    3. Password: {password}
  11. Tap Next. The iPhone will verify your settings.
  12. Once verified, tap on the account you just added.
  13. Scroll down and tap on SMTP under the Outgoing Mail Server section.
  14. Tap on mail.afternorth.com under Primary Server.
  15. Ensure the following settings are enabled:
    1. Use SSL: On
    2. Authentication: Password
    3. Server Port: 465 or 587
  16. Tap Done to save the settings.

Note: Ensure that SMTP authentication is set as it is not enabled by default.

Your iPhone should now be set up to send and receive emails using the IMAP server with SSL.
